Ishimwe Felicien is a devoted, reliable, and outcome-focused professional with over five years of experience in promoting gender equality and human rights, contributing to impactful research and interventions at both national and regional levels. With extensive experience in community engagement, research, project implementation, and statistical analysis, Felicien has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing gender equality and preventing violence in both rural and urban settings, notably through the MenEngage approach.


Felicien’s commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his professional certifications, including GTA and TOT trainings, MenEngage Training from MERGE, various courses on ending VAW and child abuse from the Prevention Collaborative, SPSS and statistical analysis from EPRN, Artificial Intelligence in Career Essentials from ALX Africa, and a Project Planning and Execution certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder.


His passion for social justice, combined with his technical expertise, makes him a key advocate for gender equality and community empowerment, working towards more equitable societies. Felicien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Mount Kenya University and has experience working with the Rwandan health system.
