About the Role
RWAMREC is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join a roster of certified Gender Transformative Approaches (GTA) trainers.
Selected candidates will participate in a five-day Training of Trainers (ToT) and additional training opportunities. Upon successful completion, they will be included in RWAMREC’s trainer roster and may be invited to support the implementation of gender-transformative programs and community trainings across Rwanda.
This roster will support RWAMREC’s work with communities, youth, women, men, local leaders, and institutions to promote gender equality and positive masculinities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, education, public health, gender studies, psychology, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in participatory facilitation and community-based training
Ability to engage effectively with diverse groups including youth, women, men, local leaders, and marginalized communities
Fluency in Kinyarwanda required; English or French is an advantage
The program particularly encourages applications from early-career professionals.
About the NGO
The Rwanda Men’s Resource Centre (RWAMREC) is a Rwandan non-governmental organization working to promote gender equality, positive masculinities, and the prevention of gender-based violence. Through research, community engagement, and training, RWAMREC works with men, women, youth, and institutions to transform harmful gender norms and build healthier relationships and communities.
