Martina Astolfi

Martina Astolfi is currently interning in Communication and Social Media with RWAMREC in Rwanda, focusing on reshaping masculinity norms to promote gender equality. Alongside this role, she serves as a Local Project Operator with Anymore Onlus, where she supports and coordinates new civil service volunteers, facilitating their integration and guiding projects in education, disability, and sports.
Martina is enrolled in the Master’s program in Cooperation and International Law at SPICeS, FOCSIV, and the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome, where she is building expertise in development cooperation, project management, and communication. She is passionate about conveying Third Sector issues in a simple yet effective manner through social media, always respecting human dignity. Her storytelling and visual communication skills are highlighted by her Instagram community, "Vitadavolontari," which connects people worldwide to share field volunteer experiences, promoting human rights and cultural awareness.
Her experience includes a year of Universal Civil Service in Rwanda with Anymore Onlus, where she managed communication and social media for the “Amakuru, EduAction in Rwanda” initiative. Martina holds a Bachelor's in Sociology and Criminology, as well as a Master’s in Political Science - International Relations from RomaTre University. Her volunteer work inspired her thesis on visual anthropology, and her passion for photography has been showcased in exhibitions in Sicily, offering cultural insights and personal experiences.
Martina’s time working as a waitress in Manchester further honed her communication and adaptability skills. She is deeply committed to advancing international cooperation, fostering diversity, inclusion, and human rights, and contributing to sustainable development and social inclusion on a global scale.
