Jonathan Munyanziza

Jonathan holds a Master’s Degree in Gender and Development from the University of Rwanda and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Humanities from the National University of Rwanda. Since January 2024, he has been serving as the Head of Resources Mobilization and Quality Assurance. Jonathan has been working at RWAMREC as the Projects Coordinator since 2016, where his key responsibilities include organizing and conducting training activities on gender equality, and gender-based violence (GBV), and engaging men in these initiatives.

Jonathan has held various significant positions in both government and non-governmental organizations. His roles have included Acting Executive Secretary of RWAMREC, Acting Director in charge of Gender Mainstreaming at the Gender Monitoring Office where he also served as a Gender Analyst Officer, and several capacities at the Ministry of Local Government (MINALOC), such as Acting Director in charge of Community Development and Social Affairs and Communications Officer. With over 11 years of teaching experience and more than 7 years in gender and GBV-related research, assessments, and gender monitoring and evaluation, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current roles.
