Jean Bosco Rudasingwa
Project coordinator - GEWEP
Bosco is the National Project Coordinator of the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Project (GEWEP) at RWAMREC. He has worked with the organization since August 2014. He works on engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality and women empowerment, planning, and budgeting. He also served as a representative of local NGOs on the executive committee of the provincial forum of partners in the Southern Province of Rwanda (2016-2018). Before joining RWAMREC. Mr. Rudasingwa worked with the Rwandese Association of Professional Trauma Counselors – ARCT RUHUKA for 4 years; and worked at the Umbrella for Genocide Survivors Organisations – IBUKA. Mr. Rudasingwa has also worked with projects funded by the Government of Rwanda, USAID, DFID, CARE International, ded, and Medecin du monde. Mr. Rudasingwa has a Master of Arts in Human Rights from Annamalai University in India, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Catholic Institute of Kabgayi (Rwanda). He is fluent in Kinyarwanda French and English.
