Jean Baptiste Nsengimana

Field coordinator - Bandebereho

Jean Baptiste is currently working as a Field Coordinator of the Bandebereho program in the Burera District of Northern Rwanda. He has been serving RWAMREC for 10 years from 2013 where he worked in MenCare+ Bandebereho as the District community trainer based in Nyaruguru District of Southern Rwanda (2013-2015), in Indashyikirwa project as a field officer based in Burera District (2015-2018) and backed in Bandebereho transitional to scale project as a field officer based in Musanze District of Northern Rwanda (2019-2022). Previously, he worked for the Rwanda Network of people living with HIV/AIDS (RRP+) as the district coordinator based in Gatsibo District in Eastern Rwanda from 2012 to 2013, and he served the same District as the technical assistant in charge of the integration of HIV/AIDS control activities in the health sector from 2007-2012. He also served Nemba Hospital as a professional nurse for 3 years. Jean Baptiste is a hardworking, enthusiastic, ambitious, and optimistic staff. He counts amongst his achievements, the positive transformation of young men, young women, and couples and building the of safe and capable families free from GBV and governed with equality and respect for all family members. He also contributed to the organizational growth. Jean Baptiste is a professional nurse and has a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB) he is currently pursuing a Master of Social Sciences in Gender and Development from the University of Rwanda (UR). He followed several professional trainings related to community empowerment. He is fluent in English and French and native to Kinyarwanda.
