Gimu Shyikiro Ntayoberwa

Gimu is the Field Coordinator of the Prevention+ Programme in Karongi District. He has worked for RWAMREC for five years in gender specifically focusing on women empowerment, engaging men and boys in the promotion of gender equality through transformative programs and institutionalization approach. He also has over 9 years of extensive experience in coordinating and managing multi-projects with different donor-funded programs. SHYIKIRO holds an Advanced Diploma in nursing from the University of Rwanda and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the Universite de Goma. He attained Certificates in training MenEngage approach focusing on Maternal and Child Health & Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (MCH & SRHR), Family Planning (FP), Gender Responsive Budget (GPR), Gender Mainstreaming and HIV, Gender-Based Violence Law & Child Rights, HIV/AIDS as well as Monitoring and evaluation. He is Excellent in Kinyarwanda, fluent in French, and Kiswahili, and good in English.
