Emmanuel Karamage

Project coordinator - Bandebereho

Emmanuel works as a Field Coordinator in the Bandebereho Project at the Rwanda Men’s Resource Center (RWAMREC). He has over 10 years of working experience in the promotion of gender equality in rural and in emergency of the Refugee context. Emmanuel worked for the MenCare+ BANDEBEREHO and Girls Take the Lead Projects in engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and Maternal Child Health care (MCH). He has wide training experience with different approaches focusing on women's empowerment, and prevention of Gender-Based Violence using the Men Engage Approach. Emmanuel has worked for over 10 years in different INGOs and NGOs such as Care International in Rwanda, ARCT-RUHUKA, and ARBEF. Emmanuel holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Mount Kenya University, option of International Health and Development; and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kigali Independent University (ULK). He is fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, and French.
