Claudine Mujawayezu

Claudine is a dedicated gender activist with a robust academic background and extensive
experience in community development. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Independent university of Kigali (ULK), where she gained a deep understanding of social dynamics, policy analysis, and sustainable development practices. With a passion for social justice and community empowerment, Claudine has worked tirelessly in various capacities to address the needs of underserved populations. Her career began in local governance, where she honed her skills in community outreach, program implementation, and advocacy. Her contribution had a profound impact on improving living conditions, enhancing educational opportunities, and fostering economic development in communities. Her approach is characterized by a strong emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and evidence-based strategies.
Claudine is also known for her ability to build and maintain strong relationships with
community stakeholders, including local governments, non-profits, and grassroots
organizations. In the field of gender equality promotion, Claudine is actively involved in women and girls’ rights promotion activities, reflecting her ongoing commitment to social justice and community betterment. She continues to seek innovative solutions to complex social issues and remains a passionate advocate for those in need. Claudine served RWAMREC in different projects notably BAHO project, UNWOMEN project, FCDO project and currently serving as a field officer in project entitled “Strengthening the health systems for eye health in Rwanda” project.
