Chantal Muhimpundu

Chantal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Kigali Independent University (ULK). Chantal joined RWAMREC over 5 years ago ; working on multiple projects aimed at engaging men in the promotion of Gender Equality, in maternal and child health, in care giving, SRHR etc. In addition, she has extensive experience in the area of training. Chantal also worked with Care International Rwanda for about 8 years, specifically on projects designed to promote women’s economic empowerment through the ‘voluntary saving and loan methodology (VSLA). She obtained certificates of completion in the ‘Do no harm’ methodology, the GED, Gender and Men Engage approach ; the Social Analysis and Action to explore and integrate gender in health programs ; amongst others. Chantal is a self-driven person and a good team worker ; who is highly committed to the fight and prevention of Gender-based Violence.
