Bernadette Kamungu

Bernadette has over 10 years of experience in public and NGO management and over 4 years working at RWAMREC. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the National University of Rwanda. Mrs. KAMUNGU is a self-motivated person, able to use her initiative and work as part of a team. Proven leadership skills, including managing and motivating others to achieve the organization’s objectives. She has worked with youth, women, and the community in different interventions like Women and youth empowerment; Health and social protection; Education; Entrepreneurship and Men engagement, and Gender equality. Mrs. KAMUNGU has worked for 3 years on a youth mentorship program, coordinating interventions in Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru Districts in Southern Province, which aimed at involving boys to promote gender Equality and ending gender-based violence in schools and community, under the GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT project (GEWEP).
