Aline Umutesi

Aline joined RWAMREC as the Project Coordinator in May 2024. She brings over fifteen years of experience in empowering youth and women. She has worked with various international and national non-governmental organizations, such as World Learning, Girl Effect, Ni Nyampinga, Search for Common Ground, Urunana Development Communication, and Africare. Aline strategically manages projects advancing gender equality and social change, drawing on her expertise in program and project management, team leadership, relationship-building, communication strategies, creating gender-transformative media content for youth, and capacity building. Her collaborative spirit and strategic vision shine through her board memberships in two national organizations working for social change in Rwanda. With a Bachelor of Communication from the National University of Rwanda, Aline has implemented innovative initiatives, led diverse teams, and built good relationships with stakeholders. Her strong analytical and problem-solving skills make her a valuable asset in driving meaningful impact.
