About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Crowdfunding Intern to support our fundraising efforts. The intern will be responsible for developing and managing crowdfunding campaigns to raise funds for our programs and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, marketing, and non-profit management.

Requirements

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communication, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.


Skills:

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).

  • Familiarity with crowdfunding platforms and fundraising techniques.

Attributes:

  • Passionate about gender equality and social justice.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail.

    Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in crowdfunding, fundraising, or digital marketing is a plus.

Responsabilities

  • Campaign Development: Plan, create, and launch crowdfunding campaigns on platforms such as GoFundMe, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, etc.

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling narratives, videos, and other multimedia content to support crowdfunding campaigns.

  • Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement strategies to reach and exceed fundraising goals, including leveraging social media, email marketing, and community engagement.

  • Donor Engagement: Identify and engage potential donors, including individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community organizations.

  • Promotion: Promote crowdfunding campaigns through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, press releases, and partnerships.

  • Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, track donations, and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes.

  • Research: Conduct research on crowdfunding trends, best practices, and potential funding sources.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the communication and social media teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign messaging.
